Paradise Beach Cozumel

Boasting the largest heated pool on the island and one of the largest collections of ocean toys and activities as well, there is no shortage of fun to be had at Paradise Beach Cozumel. Nestled in a beautiful forest of coconut palms and surrounded by well-manicured gardens, lawns and more, Paradise feels exactly like a high-end resort experience. The beachfront restaurant makes for tranquil seaside dining, or you can order food and drinks directly to your beach lounger or poolside table. They even have loungers and tables in the pool so you can keep cool while sampling delicious treats from the Paradise menu. Inflatable water slides, trampolines and obstacle courses floating on the sea are all available for use as well. Several on site shops offer a variety of souvenirs, clothing, sunhats and anything else “beachy” you desire. The basic entrance is inexpensive, but we HIGHLY recommend the all-inclusive option that allows you to eat and drink all day long.

The Cabana Beach

A hidden gem of a beach club awaits you on the South End of Chankanaab Eco Park, The Cabana Beach. The soft sand and beautiful ocean views will easily lure you into this wonderfully relaxed property. Boasting a new spacious palapa with a restaurant and bar, plenty of comfortable day beds and optional private cabanas, this beach club allows you to create your own perfect beach day experience. If you decide to upgrade your experience, each optional cabana can host up to six people and is well-appointed with sun loungers, sofas, fans and, of course, wifi and electrical outlets to ensure all those gorgeous images get posted. Guests can take advantage of the famous shore snorkeling just steps away, as snorkel gear and towels are provided for every guest. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, enjoy the fresh food and drink menu items available all day, or opt for the food and drinks package offering a three-course meal and unlimited drinks. With limited guests allowed each day, you will feel as if you’ve landed on a private island escape. Unlimited access to the stunning Chankanaab Eco Park is included in your entrance fee. Welcome to The Cabana Beach.

Buccanos Beach Club

This lovely beach club north of town is adjacent to the famous Buccanos At Night restaurant and is known for its delicious food and lux details. Unlike the southern beach clubs, Bucannos is a bit closer to town making it convenient for those short on time. Bucannos has a beautiful, small beach area with some of the clearest waters in Cozumel. This makes for both wonderful ocean swimming and snorkeling for guests. With dramatic mission-style architecture, the Buccanos experience is unlike any other in the area. There is also a nice swimming pool, and plenty of beach loungers, palapas, picnic tables and more to make your day at Buccanos truly enjoyable. The $24 entrance fee can be applied to your food and drink bill and there is no all-inclusive option.

Mr. Sanchos Beach Club

Mr. Sanchos Beach Club

Mr. Sanchos is one of the most famous of the Cozumel beach clubs and is typically the most crowded. If you don’t like large crowds, this is definitely not the place for you. The Mr. Sanchos complex has a sandy coastline, two pools, three bars, multiple restaurants, hundreds of loungers, and a partridge in a pear tree (not really). Well south of town, Mr. Sanchos is a bit of a hike to get to but can be accessed using a taxi or rental car. Popular with families and cruise ship excursions, Mr. Sanchos offers an “all inclusive” package that gives guests access to the beach, the pools, and all the food and drink you want. Add ons such as snorkeling, wave runners, parasailing, horseback riding, ATV tours and more are NOT included in the “all inclusive” packages so be sure to review the menu of activities when you book.

ISLAND LIFE TRAVEL TIP : GET TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel Insurance is a must in our opinion. Standard health insurance likely doesn’t cover you while outside of the country so travel insurance will cover any emergency medical needs as well as trip cancellation, lost or stolen luggage (it happens), flight delays, missed connections and more. You can easily compare the top rated travel insurance plans here.
