Paradise Beach Cozumel
Boasting the largest heated pool on the island and one of the largest collections of ocean toys and activities as well, there is no shortage of fun to be had at Paradise Beach Cozumel. Nestled in a beautiful forest of coconut palms and surrounded by well-manicured gardens, lawns and more, Paradise feels exactly like a high-end resort experience. The beachfront restaurant makes for tranquil seaside dining, or you can order food and drinks directly to your beach lounger or poolside table. They even have loungers and tables in the pool so you can keep cool while sampling delicious treats from the Paradise menu. Inflatable water slides, trampolines and obstacle courses floating on the sea are all available for use as well. Several on site shops offer a variety of souvenirs, clothing, sunhats and anything else “beachy” you desire. The basic entrance is inexpensive, but we HIGHLY recommend the all-inclusive option that allows you to eat and drink all day long.

The Cabana Beach
A hidden gem of exclusive, private cabanas, tucked away on a string of soft sand, sitting atop the famous Chankanaab reef; The Cabana Beach will quickly become one of your favorite “getaway” spots on the island of Cozumel. Each of the 12 private, tropical cabanas can accommodate up to 6 persons and have unobstructed views of the Caribbean. Unlimited access to the stunning onsite, freshwater cenote and premier snorkeling in the Chankanaab Eco Park are included in your entrance fee. Every cabana is well appointed with sun loungers, sofas, fans and of course, wifi and electrical outlets to ensure all those IG images get posted. A welcome platter of fresh fruit and guacamole will satisfy you and your entourage during your visit, and a delightful array of additional drinks and dishes are available all day. As you will be on a premier snorkeling spot, snorkel gear and towels are included. Reservations are encouraged as walk-ins are allowed only on availability. A lifetime of memories awaits. The Cabana Beach, your new private, luxury beach cabana experience.
Buccanos Beach Club

Buccanos Beach Club
This lovely beach club north of town is adjacent to the famous Buccanos At Night restaurant and is known for its delicious food and lux details. Unlike the southern beach clubs, Bucannos is a bit closer to town making it convenient for those short on time. Bucannos has a beautiful, small beach area with some of the clearest waters in Cozumel. This makes for both wonderful ocean swimming and snorkeling for guests. With dramatic mission-style architecture, the Buccanos experience is unlike any other in the area. There is also a nice swimming pool, and plenty of beach loungers, palapas, picnic tables and more to make your day at Buccanos truly enjoyable. The $20 entrance fee can be applied to your food and drink bill and there is no all-inclusive option.
Mr. Sanchos Beach Club

Mr. Sanchos Beach Club
Mr. Sanchos is one of the most famous of the Cozumel beach clubs and is typically the most crowded. If you don’t like large crowds, this is definitely not the place for you. The Mr. Sanchos complex has a sandy coastline, two pools, three bars, multiple restaurants, hundreds of loungers, and a partridge in a pear tree (not really). Well south of town, Mr. Sanchos is a bit of a hike to get to but can be accessed using a taxi or rental car. Popular with families and cruise ship excursions, Mr. Sanchos offers an “all inclusive” package that gives guests access to the beach, the pools, and all the food and drink you want. Add ons such as snorkeling, wave runners, parasailing, horseback riding, ATV tours and more are NOT included in the “all inclusive” packages so be sure to review the menu of activities when you book.
ISLAND LIFE TRAVEL TIP : GET TRAVEL INSURANCE
When planning an international vacation, Travel Insurance is a must in our opinion. Since your health insurance likely doesn’t cover you while outside of the country, travel insurance makes sure if you accidentally break a bone or get food poisoning, your medical needs are covered. Travel insurance also typically covers you for trip cancellation, lost or stolen luggage (it happens), Covid issues, flight delays, missed connections and more. We think it’s a no brainer and should be factored into any international trip budget. You can easily compare the top-rated travel insurance plans here.
I came across this website when researching things to do in Cozumel. I love this list of beach clubs. My friends and I are looking forward to checking one of these out on our next trip to Cozumel. Thank you for the detailed list.
You’re most welcome!
